The primary change in this update is the ability to zoom in/out while recording a video through the app. Just by sliding a finger up and down the screen, you will be able to zoom in or out of a frame. However, the recording will stop when s zoom in and out and will only start once you have set your desired frame. The option to zoom in and out simultaneously while recording live has not been introduced.

The next big change is enlarged emoji size or bigger emojis. When you will send a single emoji in a group or private chat, it will appear much larger than the existing emoji size. However, multiple emojis show up in their normal sizes i.e., if you send more than one emoji at a time, it will appear the size it used to appear till now.

The delete button activates only for private chats, and group chats still need to be deleted one at a time. However, the Edit feature allows s to Mark as read, and archive all group and personal chats.

Another update enables chats to open faster than they did before. Though, for it, WhatsApp already has screen notification option which allows the to see and reply on a chat without opening the app.

In addition to these, WhatsApp has also incorporated new Olympic-themed emoji ahead of the Rio Olympics 2016. The emoji is available for Android s next to the bowling emoji, while iOS s don’t have it on their keyboards yet.

These options are surely set to enhance your chatting experience, but you have to wait for the latest version to reach you.
